FOCO EX is the successor of the german proyect ForthComing (Darkwave), which was active before EOX´s emigration to México. In 2021 and REEK and SDAC got involved, with REEK leaving the group in 2024 and leaving FOCO EX temporarily as a duo. In 2026 SONICMAN was invited to take his place.
FOCO EX´s vision is an electronic-laden dark sound, picturing dehumanization while technologically progressing, a constant threat of annihilation of the human race, and the dark side of the human race – if not life itself.
FOCO EX´s music is largely influenced by acts like Gary Numan, Nine Inch Nails or Depeche Mode. Also Nitzer Ebb and Bjork (especially her album Post) have left their imprint on FOCO EX, as well as other artists.
What is FOCO EX doing at the moment?
We just finished building our new studio, and working (again and constantly) on new material. Live appearences are rare. You can find updates on our activities here.
