Why is FOCO not available on Spotify?
We have several reasons to boycott that platform, here theu come in no particular order
1. The main motive is the investment of Spotify generated earnings into autonomous weapons, which has by now (2025) reached a volume of 500 million USD. FOCO does not want to contribute to arms manufacturing, so we decided to not provide our music to this platform. We ask you to use Amazon Music, Deezer or any of the other streaming platforms to listen to us; we are currently preenet at more than 800 streaming platforms all over the world.
2. They are now releasing music not only generated by AI, but this music is also trained by musicians and composers, which are unable to sue them…because those musicians are not among us anymore…
Can is get any more unethical?
(My prediction: Yes. Because money has no moral. And Daniel Ek, Spotify CEO, brother.)
